The Value in Having Time to Ourselves

  • Connecting with our Spiritual consciousness

While this pandemic can be incredibly lonely at times, there are many great and amazing things to come out of this lockdown.

In having more time with ourselves, we become more in tune with our thoughts. Not only do we have more time to think, but we also have more time to self-reflect, to make changes in our processes, and to grow.

Having time to reflect makes way for us to become more in touch with our spirituality and consciousness. In this time, it is easier for us to see the value in things we may have overlooked in our previously hectic lifestyles. Before this pandemic, our lives were so incredibly different, and now we are more appreciative of the small things and we are constantly finding new ways to communicate, to learn, and to ultimately take care of ourselves.

Solitude gives our brain a chance to reboot which in turn improves concentration and productivity. We are able to hone in on skills we may have overlooked in our post Covid019 lifestyle. Projects we once deemed too hard now seem easier. This may be a project around the house that you put off for the longest time. There is such accomplishment in finishing even the smallest of tasks. This could also be projects you were scared to even begin, such as writing or designing, something where the thought of someone else seeing what you were trying to achieve seemed embarrassing or minimal.

Through this pandemic, we have come to realize how short life can be, and how vital it is to follow our hearts desire through every moment. Who cares what other people think of your choices. If people have the time to judge you that says more about them then it ever will of you. What is important is what you think of yourself at the end of the day, and as long as we stay true to who we are and in a constant search of growth only then will we be truly awakened and free. Following your heart’s desire is what life is all about.
